Supporting Lance Armstrong FoundationCancer survivor Ryan Krabill, 30, of Arlington is embarking May 4 on a four and 1/2-month journey of the 2,658-mile Pacific Crest Trail to raise money for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. In 2005, Krabill was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma — a type of skin cancer that infected his tongue. He underwent months of surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. Krabill was well enough to begin training for the Cherry Blossom 10-miler in January 2006. On April 2, 2006, he finished the race, beating his goal of 1:30:00 by more than five minutes.
